DesiGems is operated by Prakash Rakshit. DesiGems is a community-driven platform that helps users discover, share, and explore hidden gems, local places, and travel experiences.

We do not use precise location data for third-party advertising by default. We also do not use precise location data to train general-purpose AI models unless we clearly explain this and obtain required consent.

5. User-Generated Content

DesiGems allows users to upload and share content such as photos, descriptions, reviews, ratings, and location details.

You are responsible for the content you upload. You must only upload content that you own, created yourself, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to share.

We do not guarantee or verify the ownership, accuracy, authenticity, or legality of user-generated content. If content is reported or found to violate our policies, copyright law, or third-party rights, we may remove, restrict, or review it.

6. Copyright and Content Reports

After receiving a valid complaint, we may remove or disable access to the reported content, notify the uploader, preserve relevant records, and take appropriate action.

7. AI Features and Automated Processing

DesiGems may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to provide recommendations, search ranking, personalization, content suggestions, safety checks, and other app features.

AI recommendations may be based on your selected interests, saved places, likes, visits, activity, coarse location, and other interaction signals.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your situation. You should independently verify important information before relying on AI-generated recommendations or outputs.

We do not use your private uploaded images or private prompts to train general-purpose AI models by default. If we introduce such use in the future, we will provide additional notice and required controls.

Content you choose to post publicly may be visible to other users. Public content may be viewed, saved, reported, shared, indexed, cached, or copied by others depending on app functionality and user behavior.

Please do not upload content publicly unless you are comfortable with it being visible to others.
